KeyLabs to Use Segue's Software to Test E-Commerce Apps

[November 7] KeyLabs Inc., an independent professional testing lab for networked environments, and Segue Software Inc., which provides automated testing for software reliability, formed a strategic alliance.

Provo, UT-based KeyLabs will standardize on Silk, Segue's family of automated Web software testing tools, for the company's e-commerce and Internet application testing services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"With our focus on testing networked systems, Segue's testing tools allow us to enhance our e-commerce and Internet test services," said Jan Newman, president and CEO of KeyLabs.

"We chose Segue because we get more requests for their products than for any other test tool. Both KeyLabs and Segue customers as well as companies looking for testing solutions for their Internet-based systems will benefit from this relationship."

By using the Silk family of automated testing tools throughout its test facilities, KeyLabs said it can now offer its customers the ability to fully test their Web-based systems to ensure that they meet the business requirements they were designed to support.

KeyLabs customers can take advantage of Newton Centre, MA-based Segue's products such as Surf! for automatic link testing, SilkTest for end-to-end functional and regression testing of both visual and nonvisual application components, and SilkPerformer for performance and load testing.
