A Dynamic Program

Security Dynamics Technologies Inc., Bedford, Mass., launched its three-tier SecurWorld Partner program to help VARs sell its secure remote access solutions through the channel.

The SecurProduct Resellers segment, for entry-level partners, is designed for resellers that are new to selling secure remote access solutions. Partners will sell preconfigured bundles with a one-year maintenance agreement. Discounts and technical support are available for entry-level partners.

Candidates for the SecurSolution Providers segment should have a strong background in selling remote access and a robust regional or national market presence. This tier of VARs must commit to $500,000 per year in product sales. In addition to the benefits received by the SecurProduct Resellers, SecurSolution Providers receive additional benefits such as quarterly rebates, marketing support, technical support during business hours, direct sales assistance and the opportunity to become SecurInstructors that provide their customers with maintenance and training.

While the SecurPartners Alliance Resellers, the company's most advanced partners, must guarantee at least $1 million in product sales per year, they receive the most attractive financial incentives. Additionally, the resellers receive preferential treatment in all their support.

The SecurSolution Providers and the SecurPartners Alliance Resellers must receive training within three months of enrollment into the program. Resellers in the top two tiers must commit to a $5,000 investment for the company's starter kit and its three-day product training course. The Secure Product Resellers are not required to pay an appliction fee.
