Blue World Offers Directory of FileMaker E-Commerce Sites

[November 19] Blue World Communications Inc. launched "FileMaker Pro Shopping Carts on the Web."

The new service is an online directory of e-commerce Web sites using FileMaker Pro 3.0 & 4.0 for Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 3.1, and Mac OS from Claris Corp. The directory allows users to submit and search listings that showcase their online cyberstores.

"FileMaker Pro is an ideal database for building sophisticated Web commerce solutions," said Bill Doerrfeld, President & CEO of Bellevue, WA-based Blue World. "We're pleased to offer this directory as a service to the burgeoning FileMaker Pro Internet community."

The directory will include submissions from Webmasters who use one of the many commercial and custom tools for Web-enabling FileMaker Pro databases, including: FileMaker Pro 4.0's Web Companion, from Claris Corp.; Lasso, from Blue World Communications; Tango for FileMaker, from Everyware Development; and WEB*FM, from Web Broadcasting Corp., among others.
