Added Security For Digital Certificates

ValiCert, a start-up specializing in Internet security, announced two products to add an extra layer of security to certificate-validation systems. The ValiCert Server allows certificate servers to check whether digital credentials are still valid during transactions, easing the potential threat posed by stolen or revoked certificates. The ValiCert Toolkit lets developers integrate the same certificate verification functionality into existing servers and payment systems. Tool kit licenses are available for an annual fee of $995.
